This Privacy Policy explains how Cardpio collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Card and benefits data. Credit card information you manually enter: card names, annual fees, open dates, benefit usage history, and reminder preferences. We do not collect card numbers, account numbers, or banking credentials.
Profile photo. If you upload one, stored in our secure cloud storage.
Usage data. Basic data to operate the Service: last activity date, notification preferences, app settings.
AI assistant messages. Pro users' messages are processed by our AI provider to generate responses and are not stored permanently after processing.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
Service providers. We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications) and Anthropic (AI assistant). These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Business transfers. In a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Security rules ensure only you can access your own data. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and associated information are permanently deleted. Some data may remain in backups briefly before being purged.
If enabled, we store a notification token to send benefit reminders. You can disable notifications anytime through Settings or your device settings, which removes your token from our systems.
Cardpio is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact us at support@cardpio.com if you believe a child has provided us with personal information.
